And then spring break was over.

Long time no post, I've said what I've said a thousand times.

Today is the last day of spring break. :'o( Not only does it mean that my freedom will be ripped from my hands, but that part of myself will be ripped away along with it; that being, I feel like I'm not the me I really know and love to be when I'm so hammered by school work. The stress, the bad sleep, the fatigue... blah.

I had so much stress and fatigue from school that I didn't do anything much over spring break except lay on my sister's floor and sleep/watch a lot of tv/movies. I also did the same thing at Cute Boy's - lots of tv/movies. WOW, what a lazy spring break! I had so many plans of things to do!
I guess my consolation right now is that school pretty much ends in the first week of May even though finals extend into the second week and I'll have 1 exam to take for history. So I guess I just have to survive the next 5 weeks and then I'll have 3 months to work, earn monies, and spend time with Cute Boy!

My brother lives in Germany.

That's totally crazy! But cool! He left in August and I miss him. It's also difficult to get a hold of him (time differences, calling cards, etc.) so I haven't been able to verbally speak to him in over a month. :o( Hopefully we'll get some kind of calling system up and running here, and by that I mean either talking through the internet/webcam or just coordinating times between countries... so that keeping in touch doesn't become few and far between. Doo, I hope you still read this.

-----------------
In other news, I miss my boy. His 21st birthday (WOO!) is this December and I'm trying to plan something for us to do - I wanna escape the state for a few days if possible; or at least our home cities. I know it is months down the road, but boys, this is what girls do. :o) "Ah, I have three months to figure out what we can do, AHH!" *hee hee* At least that's how I roll.

-----------------
Today (Monday) in studio we are going on a hike; this little venture takes us two hours southeast of our school for a two hour walk-and-observe-water-in-nature-hike-thing. Hopefully that doesn't suck. I spent all weekend working on an exhibit for another class that I haven't gathered supplies for the hike-thing. Sunblock! I need sunblock! Inevitably, someone will have some, but why depend on others like that? That's right - don't mooch!

I cannot believe it is going to be the fourth week of school. Already! It just cannot be possible! I feel like we: (a) just started, (b) haven't done much work, (c) are about to head face first into some impending architectural doom incident. That's right, an I.A.D.I. You could pronounc that [i-uh-die] and you'd be saying how I will eventually feel regarding school, haha. Funny how that works. ;o)

So I've mostly finished my homework that is due tomorrow... 90% to be exact, so I am feeling good about that. So much so (can I say 'so' any more than I already have?!) that I am going to go read before bed. Yes. Laters to youz I sais.

But it doesn't feel like a holiday...

  • My parents came from [and went back to] their town yesterday. I wish I had been able to spend more time with them, but unfortunately, school intervenes with pretty much everything. *sigh*

  • Cute Boy went back to his town today. :o( It was a sad departure because he was packing up his car in his parents' garage while his mom moved her truck out of the way of my car, but then she waved to me like I was supposed to be leaving or something, so I left - and didn't get to properly say bye to CB, aw. I know I saw him all weekend, but still the goodbye hugs, etc. are mandatory! *huff* It just feels weird, is all.

  • I have no interest in working on my school stuff right now, but I know that I have to, but how can I be blamed if a certain copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows falls open in front of my face? Hmmm? ;o)

I'm moving!

I'm not too thrilled about actually having to move... or it being the 4th place I've lived since coming to this town in 2003 for school... but yeah. The room I'm in is way too small and, between you and me, I always kinda figured this place would be temporary. I've only been here since the end of January.

At any rate, I told them I'm moving and I cannot really turn back. :o)

In other news, Cute Boy will be here this weekend! Only 1.5 more days! Ghhhhhhhh! :o) Now-now-now! :o)

Okay, so I need to get some homework moving, but I might be back. Might.

And I jump right in.

There is no preparing to resume architecture school. You sit and you try to mentally tell yourself that "It'll be easier this time around if you just stay ahead of the game", but that never actually works. So far, things haven't really knocked us off our feet, but one of these days we'll all snap and go insane. I hate the first insane day - it's always the worst... but when you're on your 14th insane day in a row... it starts to feel normal, eh?

And so I'm 100+ miles from my boy and that has me a bit sad as I spent most of the summer at his house/in his company. I guess I feel farther away from him than I actually am, but that is because we're both so busy and do not get to talk as often.

I'm still mourning the loss of Meesha and cannot wait until her cremated (sp?) remains return to us so we can add pictures to the outside of her urn. I see other dogs and they just aren't the same as she was. There is one dog here (belongs to a friend of mine) who might be almost as equally cool as Meesha was, but... well, he's not mine, so he can never be as cool, you know?

I probably should go to bed because if I stay up any longer, it's not going to be for any good reason except that I don't want tomorrow to start any sooner. Not that tomorrow is going to be bad, but yeah.

Oh yeah, this Labor Day weekend, the boy is coming to town! And so is my school friend's boyfriend! So we four are going to make a nice dinner and drink and have fun - I'm SUPER excited!

Also, I've been hanging out with Shifty (it's his nickname) a lot and that has been good. He was in a motorcycle accident on Friday night, and worried the crap out of me, but he did a good job of tucking and rolling and pretty much saved his ass by that + wearing protective gear. *thankful for that*

So now I'm going to bed. Goodnight all, I hope you're reading - I am going to really make an effort to post here more frequently. :o)

I'm still alive, I swear!

Okay, so the end of the semester took forever to get here, but once it did, it was busier than crap, and now I can breathe. I'm sure I posted about it earlier... HM... Lemme see...

Ah, yes. So, the semester ended and two days later (Sunday the 13th) I had limped R-box and his mooshy clutch to my parents' house after having it bled by a friend-of-a-friend. The clutch was still mooshy and that meant only one thing - I had to limp it to California like that. *bites nails*

So Cute Boy arrived at my parents' around midnight that night and we left their house around 1 a.m. for Cali. The majority of the trip wasn't so bad because R-box didn't need to do any shifting while on the interstate, but somewhere around 6 a.m. and a wrong exit (whoops - I blame the construction that is STILL going on from LAST YEAR - get on the ball, California, geez!), we hit traffic. Stop-and-go traffic. Which was mostly STOP. Add that to a dieing clutch and you get thrills galore! But I do have to give it to R-box for holding his own (and I suppose the ACT clutch's strength as well) and not dieing on me - because that would have been really bad.

Okay, I have a lot more to write in this post, but I have to go see Cute Boy run the race track now, so check back later!

Two-and-a-half down...

The history review is OVER! Less than 24 hours until the exam and then I'll be almost free! FREEEEEE! *maniacal laughter*

So right now I'm sitting at a restaurant on University Blvd. while I eat lunch/early-early dinner and write my history exam essays. I will stay here until they kick me out! Heh-heh-heh... Or until it's about to get dark. One of the two.
Ooof, belly... SO... FULL! SO FULL! It is going to pop! Now I shall sit and relax? Maybe... :o) NO! There's history to do! *judo-chop!*

Holy Architectural History, Batman!

So my architecture history website is out of the way. No, I'm not showing it to you! Go away!

Okay-okay, don't go away... but you're not gonna see the site. :o) And... I don't feel like doing any other homework until tomorrow (which I won't feel like working on then either). All I wanna do is go hang out with my boy or friends and have fun!

Speaking of which, I just called the boy and he said that one of his friends is on his way up to visit, not for the whole weekend, but still, to visit. I am slightly jealous, I must say. I have become accustomed to seeing my boy every weekend. *huff* Oh well, this is my last week of school/homework for three months, so I can deal with one weekend of non-boy in order to take care of this crap. It's just gotta be done.

In other news, bye. :o)

20070428

Oh, these crazy days!

Mmm... what a nice Saturday so far. Slept next to my boy, had the windows open all night so the fresh air came in, the sound of the fish tank was soothing... Mmm, relax-y. :o) It feels weird to have some free time mixed in with homework again. It's like what The Normals (non-overwhelmed collegiate peoples) have to do for school. It's kind of nice and kind of weird. Things are starting to feel normal again, although it took two days before I didn't feel like I was going to die from severe lack of sleep/water/food/sanity. Thanks, architecture. Ha.

So as I mentioned above, Cute Boy is in town again - the last time was two weeks ago. I can't handle the withdrawls! Talking on the phone isn't nearly enough, you know? Spending all of my time with people that I do not really enjoy (my classmates) makes everything more difficult - especially when I'm upset about school and all I can do is call The Boy rather than drive to his house and whine. I guess that shows you how attached I've become in the last few months. :o)

Summer is approaching and hopefully the Cute Boy withdrawls will lessen. I will probably be working for my dad at his office and The Boy might be working an internship (in-state, but not in the same town *slight huff*). This means I'll be living at my parents' house for the summer - kind of an exciting proposition, kind of a scary one. Once you've lived alone, it's definitely difficult spending months under your parents' roof. YAR. Lees-er, we've gotta clean out the whole garage. ;o) Our cars must learn to share!

Ugh. My room is so messy right now! (And see, I can't even transition my paragraphs for crap right now... brain too mooshy...) I was embarassed for Cute Boy to see it because I've done so well at keeping it clean since we've met (and before, really), but the last two weeks = cleaning my room was NOT a priority, ha ha.

I think it could rain today. It's overcast and windy, thus, the enjoyment of good weather. What would make this even more enjoyable is if I knew where my camping hammock is... or if we had lounge chairs on our porch or something. Our backyard is really just a big rectangle of dirt and I'm hoping that I will be able to make some changes to that the longer I live here. I'm thinking about putting down some paver blocks or pouring a little slab of concrete for the bbq, chairs, etc. We have a firepit dug into the back yard, but it's just a big dirt hole with rocks around it. We need cooler rocks and some sort of rock infill for it, that'd be sweet. Hm...

EDIT (2 hours later): It is raining! So long as it doesn't hail, R-box will enjoy his free bath! He was going to get one today anyway... :o)

Ow, my brain...

Only 13 days until studio is over - woohoo! Then I can breathe again! And sleep again! I'm so excited! I'm also excited because Cute Boy is coming down here again this weekend!

Easter Sunday with his family was fun - they are totally laid back and real. None of that fake "I love you because you're family" crap. Woo!

Things I'm not excited about:
  • having to redesign my studio project building - just because my professor and section classmates liked that version of my project better. Ploop.
  • feeling so stressed out that my muscles are tense.
  • a car of the same make and model to mine was stolen today only ~130 miles from where I live - that's too close to home for comfort. *fear* :-\
  • shuffling money around to make ends meet.
  • annoying bishes in my class - they treat others (especially me) like they could care less if a wolf had just knawed off my feet and I couldn't get help; I seriously think at that moment, they'd still talk about how much they love their own eyes.
  • my architecture history project - too much of our grade is counting on the well-being of this project. *sigh*
  • having this many things to be not-excited-about. :oP

In other news! I'm working on that redesign mentioned above. It's going alright so far. I'm sure my professor and classmates will make try to change something else tomorrow. They have a habit of doing that right after you've spent 12 hours on one drawing. Ploop.

Okay, so back to it then!

Easter Sunday begins.

Welcome to Easter 2007!

I don't know why it got that exclamation point - part of me feels that it doesn't deserve it, but that's just me being in a pessimistic mood, eh?

So Requiem for a Dream wasn't bad, it was just weird. I like weird movies. Let's just say, though, if you haven't seen it, and you're queasy about slightly disturbing and/or raw-type of movies, maybe you shouldn't watch this one. :o)

But now I'm watching The Butterfly Effect - which I have also never seen. I was told by an ex-friend that it's a "must see" movie. It better be good, dang it. LOL.

Later today, I am going to meet extended family members of Cute Boy for Easter celebrations - kind of excited, kind of nervous. I don't think I've really cared as much about if someone's family likes me as much as I do this time around. Everything is different - everything means so much.

Right. Back to my movie then.

The dreads.

*sitting in a chair with calves-to-feet part of legs horizontal on top of desk*

What a funny way to sit, right? No, it's playful! It di-rectly reflects the mood I'm in right now. Why? I'll tell you!

Last night Cute Boy called to inform me that he would be in town later and, "what would [we] like to do?" Eeeeeeee! *excitement!* Don't worry, I still got my homework done - take THAT, school!

He arrived during the 9 or 10 p.m. hour, I finished building my model, and then we watched The Pursuit of Happyness - it was good and it felt good to just take a couple of hours to forget school and enjoy time with my boy. :o)

So school was really good today. During our programming class I sketched an idea for the building we're designing in studio and I think I can make it work as my final design! I hope so, because that would rizzock! After programming, I went back to studio, worked on my drawings and then class started. It was totally laid back today - our crit just walked around and gave some feedback. Only bad part was that he wants me to draw with a lead holder pencil (left) rather than my trusty set of mechanical draft/matics (right; click for larger view). Nooooo! I drew with the lead holder, though under protest, until my teacher left the studio - then I was right back to my draft/matics! I made it into the program using them, why should I switch now? They're awesome pencils - if you were wondering. They're heavy enough, too, to feel "quality" while you're using them unlike how cheap-o pencils feel. Plus, you never have to stop and sharpen the lead! A technique that drafting people use, is that we rotate our pencil with our fingers while we are drawing lines - this keeps the tip sharp - and it works better with mechanicals, in my opinion. :oP

So then I came home and now I'm getting ready to have a fun night out! For once, our homework load isn't overbearing this weekend, YAY! Also... Did you think you'd ever see me with dreads?

No!

But these are not true dreads! (I like to wash my hair, thank you! LOL.) No, but I have this putty stuff that I am going to use to dread-up my hair tonight. Why? For giggles - besides, when you normally don't do your hair or makeup all "fancy", it feels good to have some change - it livens up your mood! I swear by the physics of this! Heh-heh. I'll try to take a picture, though that will be difficult as my camera was sent out for repairs this week. :o\ Hopefully Cute Boy will have a camera he can use. And then... you're gonna have to be one of my MySpace friends - or you ain't gon' see 'em!
Okay, Cute Boy just called, so bye! :o)

I want my giggle back.

My Cute Boy was here and it was comforting. I always feel whole, happy, and safe when he is around. Sadly the Cute Boy only stayed for two hours and had to leave to go do things in his college town - like study for a test he forgot he had tomorrow. :o( I know he'll do great though, so that makes me :o).

I, on the other hand, have to get this G. D. architecture model finished asap before I fly off the handle! Sleep is a prime luxury right now and it must be had! Good thing class isn't until 1pm. :oP

I want my Cute Boy back! *throws tantrum*

Daaaaang it!

Stress + hard work = worthwhile.

1300+
  • Programming class = attended.
  • Studio models = built ('cept for 1, but that's okay).
  • Plaster model of collar bone = cast.
  • Plaster model of tendon and veins in hand = cast.
  • Plaster model of hand overall = cast.
  • Getting the stink-eye (as a group) from the studio crit = fear.
  • Being forced to build a model in 90 minutes with logic, craft, and completeness = difficult.
  • Talking to the crit after class about my work = bonding.
  • Dinner = eaten.
  • Walking home after school = cold and windy.
  • Cute Boy not being online = waiting.
  • Sleep = to be had.

A melding of the "blogs". (I hate that word)

So I pretty much just post all of my architectural babbles here... like I wasn't going to... hence the "Architektin" link in the left column... Whatever, yo. I guess when I actually get the guts to post pictures of my work, I'll jump back to "Architektin", but for now, it's all here, ba-bay! (Said like Conan O'Brien's: "Keep cool, my babies!") Anyway...

I've been going through a lot of turmoil with school this semester - the way I work doesn't work with the way the crits want us to. My crit wants us to design in a manner that seems totally illogical to me, but I'm here to learn, so I try his way - and then I usually end up getting upset or confused or doubty... when I really shouldn't! Because then I've started down the path of self-doubt in design and that's clearly not the issue here. The issue is stress regarding instruction.

To my crit:
  • Give us good instructions.
  • Give us thourough instructions.
  • Know fully what the client wants before instructing us to design a building for them. You saying, "I'm not really sure..." isn't helping us. How are we supposed to know the things you don't know yourself?
  • Constructive criticsm won't kill you. Again, how are we supposed to figure some of these difficult things out if you're not willing to discuss and sketch with us?
  • Why are you teaching architecture students if you only went to art college?

Thank you to:

  • Momma: for listening to me whine on the phone and telling me the nice things you said (sorry, peeps, that's between her and me). I had just held back crying and then you almost yanked it outta me, yarrr!
  • Daddio: for talking to me online and then insisting that I call you so I could hear your voice; for the architectural advice, knowledge and feedback. You're the only architectural person I really understand and feel that I have shared-ground with. You listen, you yell, you help. :o)
  • Cute Boy: for being there for me online in this time when your phone is broken, and you really would rather be doing anything other than typing at me, but you do it anyway because you know it makes me happy; for throwing the level of communication I throw at you right back at me - it is refreshing; for making me hyper. lower-case!

Alright, I'm exhausted. This weekend has been one huge research-sketch-frustration-fest. Really, it was. I'm sure I'll be writing more about it whenever I get frustrated.

Oh, and I have a post discussing what I did for spring break, but it's not done yet, and I can't devote that much brain power to it just now or I think I might explode. So when I get a free minute of sanity (HA - betta check back in three years when I gradumatate!) I'll make sure to finish that up for you folks.

In the meantime, you really think it's wise to leave my journal page without a comment? How very mean of you. ;o)

It's almost spring break!

Studio ran over by 30 minutes today! But it was good! But it's not like I wouldn't be in the building at that time anyway! AHHH! :o)

Spring break is almost here! A full week of Cute Boy access! Mmm... *commence drooling* Road trip! Pictures! Memories! Kick-ass... :o)

Now I'm hungry!

Now I'm going!

*hack, cough*

Ugh, my throat has been acting up again. Specifically my left tonsil. Most not good. I plan to keep all of my organs for as long as possible (except when I maybe sometime in the future donate one to someone in need)! *shoves tonsil back in throat*

Studio is at 1pm and ends at 5pm, yar. I feel somewhat motivated to do the diagrams required... and somehow I also don't feel motivated. Yet, I will do them. Mm-hm.

Cute boy and I are trying to plan spring break fun because our schools happen to coincide spring breaks! But what can we do? Any ideas? Remember: we're poor college kidlets!

It's Blunday!

Yay for Blunday! No... Actually, today wasn't that bad of a Monday. Cute Boy left shortly after noon and headed back to his town for class. Then I got ready and booked it to school. Actually, there really wasn't any booking, perse, because I didn't give a flying F*** if I walked in after the professors were "talking". Their habit these days has been to start class late (by an hour or so), thus wasting our educational time. How am I supposed to respect them if they aren't respecting our dedication to be there on time to learn... from them. Bastages.

So after studio I went to my car in the parking garage (yeah, I drove to school even though I can technically walk there... take THAT environment! actually, my parking permit is paid for so I might as well use it, eh?) so I could go to the library's parking garage (there's no way I'm walking across campus alone after the sun sets, are you crazy?!), and upon start-up, my car idles funny and throws a CEL (check engine light). "YARRR!" <---(the sound my brain made) So I plugged my laptop into the car and managed to get the CEL code... "Speed sensor wha-?" Bah. So after turning off the car and restarting it, it was fine. *shakes fist at R-box* The CEL was probably caused by me messing with things on a daily basis, but, eh, whattayagonnado?!

In the library, I went from floor to floor looking for the d*** architectural section. The library isn't very clear about where it places things... That and there are a LOT of f-ing books to navigate through. So finally, after finding a map on the end of one of the bookshelves, I managed to nav my way to the arch books where I started to find ones that would suppliment the church I'm critiquing for my project. I couldn't find anything more than few-page articles on the church, as it was built in 2000. *huff* But yay for Richard Meier! (Google him if you want to know more about this cool architect man.) I checked out 9 books!

So then I came home and unloaded the car (there's a lot of stuff to carry too and from school, ugh)... and came inside to find out my Roomy's dad had replaced our toilet! YAY! It recently started leaking...

And I checked my email to find out that the flower company is sending me new tulips free of charge because the ones for Valentine's Day (from my parents) got stuck in the snow hold-up back East, didn't make it here on time, and were kinda wilty. YAY FREE FLOWERS! Aw, Double Valentine's Day!

Today is Mandies' birthday! Happy 25th Birthday to you, Mandies!

Tomorrow is K's birthday, so Happy Birthday to him! It is also Janeal's birthday! YAY, birthdays!

Okay, I seriously need to start working on this homework that is due tomorrow at 11 a.m. Maybe I'll update more after I finish it. Bye!

In lieu of super fun night.

(re-cap of Saturday night)
So last night we decided that we didn't need to have super fun night out. We were too tired. Cute Boy watched the golf tournament with his dad all day, then went home to his parents' house, invited some friends over, and then I went over to join them.

His family is crazy and I love it! When I got to their house, everyone (mom, dad, Cute Boy, and Cute Boy's two friends) was freaking out because his mom's rental car doors had locked themselves and someone had left the keys inside. Everyone was blaming everyone, but there was laughter involved at the same time. It was funny and I kinda just watched with a "WTF" look on my face, haha. Finally everyone calmed down, apologized for the yellings, the two friends left, and Cute Boy and I went back inside.

After that he and I left in my car to go get coffee at Starbucks, mmm... Thank you for the free coffee to whomever gave him that gift card! :o) Then we hit the road and went to my place where I introduced Cute Boy to my roommate. She asked us if she should get a nose or lip piercing to go along with her eyebrow one. We both said the nose one would look cuter on her, hands down! But we think she wanted to get the lip one. I dunno, I just always feel like the lip ones, if off center, make that side of the lip look heavier, poutier, kinda like a defect - not in a good way.

Anyway, so we picked up a bottle of Yellow Tail chardonnay I bought a week ago and went back to his parents' house. His parents had gone to bed so Cute Boy and I decided to watch V for Vendetta in the living room and drink the wine. It was a nice, relaxing second evening after such a hectic three weeks of school... Thank you, Cute Boy! *happy memories*

So after pausing the movie a few times, and having intellectual conversation during pause breaks, the end of the movie came around 2 a.m. at which we proceeded to go to bed and fall asleep post haste, lol. I love the super-fall-asleep-happy-hour! It's a great feeling when you don't just lay there for what feels like a billion hours trying to fall asleep.

(begin sunday entry events)
And yeah, so then we woke up this morning around 10:45 a.m. to his parents calling on the phone and saying they'd be home in about fifteen minutes and that they all had group errands to do. Boo to waking up on such short notice, haha. I like to wallow in bed for a bit before getting vertical. When you fly out of bed right after the alarm goes off, sure, it feels good at first, but by the time you make it to the shower that is ten feet away you feel like butt and want to just crawl back into bed. It's too fast for the human body! Wallowing must commence!

So we got out of bed, got ready, and I left to go to 'my things' while he helped his parents out today. 'My things' ended up being virtually nothing as I managed to successfully laze the day away. I don't feel too-too guilty either what with the needing of the brain farts this weekend in order to survive the future chaos that is bound to ensue as of tomorrow's studio class. We get a new assignment, so I want to do exceptionally well on it this time.

The weekend is winding down and I am debating watching the new episodes of Simpsons and Family Guy - I barely get to watch tv anymore. We'll see what happens. I might just fall asleep. Riveting, I know.

Weekend of Freedom!

Cute Boy's back in town, YAY! Last night he went to hang out with some of his friends because one of them is visiting from out of town for this weekend only... and yeah, so a few hours were sacrificed for him to see his buddies.

Butthenhecameover! :o)

We're planning on going out tonight, I'm so excited! It's gonna be "our big night o' fun" since he had to bail for those few hours last night. Aw, how sweet. I can't wait until 6pm! Move faster, time! MOVE FASTER! :o)

In other news, school is a bitch. I mean... yeah, school is a bitch. HA-HA! We just had a grueling three weeks on this last project, including a week (which happens to be last week) from Hell with projects due every day amongst the four classes.

My fish fought this week. My cichlids. This is not good. Two of them had a mouth-fight. They were biting each others' mouths and one of them got injured a little. *huff* Fish from different continents (actually, it's my fault for mixing the continents... cuz I didn't know you couldn't!) = fighting. HAHA. After I moved out of the apartment, they haven't been the same. They are afraid of the fish tank light that never used to phase them. They literally scatter and hide when it comes on.

My family will be down here next weekend for a bone marrow reunion picnic. It's been 10 years since Lees-er had her transplant (this May 23rd), YAY for technology saving my little Lees-er! So I'm excited about that - I hope my dad doesn't have to work. I want him and for him to see our newly built studio! That place is nice. It is sad that my year of students will have to spend our 3rd year in the old building after it's done being renovated. :o( But for 4th and 5th year, we'll be back in the new building! I know this stuff bleeds over from the Architektin site, but I'm too lazy to just go post there today.

Why? Because this weekend happens to be the first weekend in many where I have NO major projects to be working on. I am taking FULL advantage of that if it kills me. :o) Things I'm considering for this weekend:

*doing my taxes
*doing my FAFSA
*washing R-box (my car)
*recalibrating R-box's computer
*taking photos of random things
*going to a hockey game
*baking cookies
*laundry!!!
*sleeping!
*having some wine
*my history bibliography
